She entered the shop with the student she had met in Knockturn Alley. Daphne had no idea why the girl even wanted to have a butterbeer with her since Daphne was one of the most hated and feared people in the school. She shrugged this off as she waved to the bartender.
"Hi. Give me two butterbeers and place it on my fathers tab. Thank you."
She grabbed the butterebeers as they came up and she handed on to the girl.
"Why don't we sit over here, strange people come through here sometimes and you seem to be too pure for this place."
She walked over to a table in the back and sat down.
"So, Callia, what was the true reason you was in Knocturn Alley?"

She snickered inwardly at Daphne's comment that she was too pure. Gosh, she could be wicked if she wanted to. And she didn't fear Daphne. Nope. If anything at all, she liked Daphne and admired her wits.
"Well...you see....I met this guy a while ago and he told me that his father has a shop in Knockturn Alley. I've been there a few times to see him and yeah, even though its weird that his father has a shop in Knockturn Alley, the guy seems really nice. I kind of like the shop actually. It sells all kinds of charm books, amulets and talismans. I even bought an amethyst stone from there once. It's really pretty."
She then realised that Daphne hadn't told her yet what she was doing in Knockturn Alley. She took a sip of buterbeer before asking the question.
" So what were you doing in Knockturn Alley then? All you told me was that you were in your father's shop."

"Well, as you can see, I was working out. My father's shop has a cool basement with with all sorts of things to keep me in shape. My parents hate to see an ounce of fat on them or me so I try to stay as thin as possible." She took a sip of butterbeer. She truly did work out but that wasn't all she was down there doing.
"So, thats why I was there. I had just finished when I saw that student talking and I bumped into you. So, thats my story. I am surprised you would want to have a butterbeer with me. many students stay clear away from me."

She looked at Daphne's eyes searchingly. She didn't know why, but she had the feeling that Daphne wasn't telling her the whole story. She shrugged it away and decided to trust Daphne. Anyway, everyone had secrets and she wasn't one to be pushy about it.
"Well, I can see its working. Not an ounce of fat. Anyway, I just thought I'd have a buterbeer with you because I bumped into you and that's what I would have done if I had seen any friendly face there. Contrary to popular belief, Daphne, I didn't think you were going to smash my head in just because I wanted to have a drink with you and get to know you better."
She grinned at Daphne. She kept the other details about how she admired Daphne to herself, of course.

She smiled at the girl.
"Why thank you. I try my best to stay in shape. Can't be out of shape when I have to chase students around." She let out a silvery laugh and took another sip of her butterbeer.
"It is good to know that everyone is not afraid of me. I try to be one of the nicest people, but it backfires on me sometimes. Oh well, I am glad that I have you as company today. I wouldn't mind getting to know you better either. You seem to be a pretty good person."
She gave her a smile as she took another sip.

She let out a little laugh.
"Thank you, Daphne. I wouldn't say I'm a goody-two-shoes but when it comes to being friends I guess I'm alright." She laughs again.
"So...what's it like being Head Girl? Traumatic?" She smiles at Daphne as she puts her half-empty mug to her lips for another sip.

Daphne thought for a moment about the question.
"Being head girl is hard but fun. You may come across very disrespectful students but at the same time, you are doing something to protect the school. I enjoy it alot. Not to mention that you get alot of special privileges which aren't bad at all. Once, I graduate, there will be an opening so you never know, you could be the next head girl"
She finished off her butterbeer and sat back in her chair.
"So, what else do you have planned for today?"

" I see. Nah, I'm not really interested in being Head Girl. But it's great to know that you'd even consider it."
Callia downed her last drop of butterbeer and thought for a moment.
"Well, I don't really have any plans for the day. Do you have any plans? Erm, if you're busy, I guess i'll just make my way back to the castle."

She smiled at the girl.
"Nope no plans for me. How about we do a little shopping? I could always use a new broom cleaning kit for my Nimbus 2006. But first, let me change clothes."
She stood and took out her wand. she pointed it to herself and in an instance she wore a new outfit.
She was wearing a pair of hig-hugging, firm fitting jeans and a green and silver halter shirt which had the Slytherin emblem on it.
"Now, let's go have some fun." With that she took the girl's hand and led her out of the dark pub.

She smirked at Daphne's Slytherin shirt. She didn't mean to be mean, but to wear a halter shirt with a Slytherin emblem on it was like....ookayy. But she guessed the girl was super patriotic and she respected that. Besides, Slytherin emblem aside, her outfit was fabulous and showed off her curves in the right places.
"You know what? I think I should get a broom. I don't even have one. I've only been using the school's ones and those are alright but not fantastic. Hmmm...I wonder which broom I should get..."
Her eyes twinkled excitedly as she thought of all the different brooms she would see and having to pick out one. She didn't really have her heart set on any broom at the moment so she was open to anything.
As Daphne took her hand, she laughed out loud and found that she was having tremendous fun with a girl she hadn't ever talked to casually until a few hours ago. It was ironic, really. And blissful at the same time.

As they walked, Daphne looked at her.
"Well, with brooms, you always want the fastest one. Right now the trend has been the Nimbus 2005. When I saw everyone getting them, I decided that it was time for an upgrade. So I had my father pull some strings and I have a Nimbus 2006. And he got them for the other members of the Slytherin team. Pretty cool huh? But if you want the best broom on the market, my choice would be the Nimbus 2005. Now, if you want to be a non-conformist, try the newest version on the firebolt. It isn't bad at all."
Next to fashion and guys, Daphne really enjoyed playing quidditch. She had learned at a young age by watching Draco Malfoy play. He then taught her the game when she was around 5 and she has been playing ever since.
She walked through the crowded street with Callia. Daphne still held tight to her hand. She could feel a slight bond to the girl even though they had only spoken for the first time a few hours ago. The reached the quidditch shop and Daphne entered it with her.
"Ok. Let's find you a broom. My supply kit can wait for now."

"Hmm, alright. I think i'll stick with the Nimbus 2005. Nimbus 2006 is probably way out of budget for me anyway."
Quidditch had been a passion for her ever since she was young even though she was Muggle-born. She had played a number of times with her friends and she found out that she was definitely a Seeker. She could play the other parts decently but somehow seeking was her niche. She hadn't entered the Quidditch team in Hogwarts, though.
"So, Daphne. are you in the Quidditch team in school? And you know, I have this feeling that the school is rather...dead now. Like nothing much has been going on lately. Even the classes are sort of stale. I wonder why..."
She let her eyes roam everywhere before it finally landed on the gleamy, shiny new Nimbus 2005 on display. Her heart raced. That broom was calling out to her.

"You are right. I do not know what happened to eveyone. It just seems that students and teachers have up and left. Hopefully things will pick up soon." She looked around the store and grabbed her kit. She gave to the man up front.
"Good day, could you please just bill this to my father. Thank you." He bagged the kit for her and she returned to Callia's side.
"Now, are you just going to stand there and look at the broom? Come on, it is calling your name."

She laughed as Daphne voiced exactly what she was thinking.
"alright, alright, there's no need to get impatient." She laughed again as she picked up the broom and brought it to the counter. The guy at the counter wrapped it for her and she paid the required amount. Her pouch was now considerably lighter than it had been at the start of the term. Oh well, she shrugged, what was her gold for if not for spending?
"Hey, you still haven't answered my question. Are you in the Quidditch team at school?"
She picked up her now wrapped broomstick and walked out of The Three Broomsticks with Daphne.

She looked at the young girl with a smile.
"I am sorry I didn't answer. Yes, i am on the team. I may actually be team captain. I enjoy quidditch alot so being on the team was a must for me. " She exited the store and looked around.
"So, do you want to go somewhere else or we could just make the walk back to Hogwarts. With good company like yourself, it shouldn't take us any time to get back."
