Emma walked up to the astronomy tower and looked around for Sienna. She turned and saw a shadow moving towards her in the night sky. Recognising it as her owl, Emma smiled and raised her hand out for her to land on. However, she perched on the stone wall a few metres away from her. Concerned, Emma moved towards her, hoping that she hadn't got hurt on her nightly hunt. When she stood by her, she saw that she had a letter attached to her left leg. She reached for it and saw how Sienna shuffled so that she had to move around to reach it. Emma was confused, it seemed as though she didn't want her to read it.
'Come on Sienna.'
Emma was frustrated as she nervously unravelled the parchment. It was from her parents. She read from the beginning, smiling as her parents offered their congratulations but then noticed that they seemed to get more serious. As she read on, she gasped and dropped to the floor. She felt the cold hardness beneath her but felt numb inside. Izzy had gone missing from home. Noone had seen her for over a week and there was no trace of her. It wasn't like her to leave without telling anyone. There was only one reason that she could have gone missing, the same reason as all the others who disappeared.
Emma let the letter drop from her hands and sat staring at the wall. She couldn't believe it.... she wouldn't..... her sister couldn't just disappear.
Emma stood up, her mind on overload- should she go home, or go after Izzy, whereever she might be... Suddenly Emma felt faint and sank back down to the floor. Putting her hands out to steady herself, she felt the tears run down her face and soon she was unable to stop herself, tears running freely.

Sammy had never been up to the Astronomy tower, and thought that she would take a look. She walked into the tower and looked around, and saw Emma sitting on the floor. There was a letter on the floor right next to her. She looking at Emma's face, and noticed that she was crying. [glow=red,2,300]Are you OK, Emma?[/glow] Sammy gave her a warm smile, hoping that everything was alright.

Emma heard a voice and raised her head. Seeing Sammy, she quickly wiped the tears from her eyes and stood up.
'Yeah, i'm fine. Just got..... a bit homesick.'
Emma tried to make her mouth form a convincing smile and then noticing the discarded letter, bent down and shoved it in her pocket.
She felt as though if she explained what had happened to someone else, then she would have to accept that it had happened. She was still expecting another owl to bring a note saying it was all just a joke.
Emma realised that she had got lost in her own thoughts and looked back at Sammy.
'What brings you up here?'

Sammy saw Emma trying to hide the letter, and thought that it was not best to bother her about it. She would only ask questions if she felt that it was right. [glow=red,2,300]I had never been up her before, and thought that i would take a look around. It is really interesting in here.[/glow] She said as she looked around the room.

'Yeah, its amazing. One of my favourite places at Hogwarts. It's so peaceful so I come and sit up here every so often. Although I have had my bad times up here too!'
Emma thought back to when she had been in the middle of some between-houses conflict which had resulted in many points being lost and a few detentions. She smiled, it had been so long since she had broken any rules, it was although she was a different person now, or maybe just more mature.
'You can see most of the ground from here and when its a clear night like tonight you can see the star constellations.'
Emma gazed up at the stars, noting how odd it was to think that Izzy wherever she was, was also under this same sky.

[glow=red,2,300]That is really amazing, that this can be this beautiful.[/glow] Sammy looked out at the grounds, then up at the sky. She took a deep breathe of air, and realized just how much she missed flying. [glow=red,2,300]Tomorrow is going to be a great day, i can just tell by the way everything feels right now. Like maybe all our pain can just go away, even just for a littlest moment, i know that everything is going to be all right.[/glow]

Emma smiled, she hoped that tomorrow would be a better day. She was planning on contacting some friends in the ministry and trying to get some more information on her sister.
But for now, she didn't want to have to think about it. It seemed so peaceful up here and she just wanted to forget everything. She never felt this way, unless she was playing Quidditch, maybe that was what she needed to do to keep her mind of things.
She gazed up at the stars and then looked at Sammy.
'Yeah, I hope tomorrow will be a good day.'

Yeah, it well. I can just tell. She looked around, and just thought of everything on her mind, and they just seem not to matter anymore. I just made a decision, that is now one of my most favorite places in Hogwarts, because just looking around, all my problems seem SO small. Nothing seems to matter anymore to me, at least. I just can't say this for everyone else in this school.

Emma gazed above her and focused on what she could do to help her sister. She wasn't prepared to let her be harmed and had a strong feeling that she was still alive. Her and Izzy had always been close and had a special ability to be able to sense what each other was feeling.
Suddenly, she had a strong urge to go looking for her sister and hastily took out the letter from her parents. Reading it once more, tears sprang to her eyes and she knew that there was no way she could just wait for news of Izzy. Reaching for her wand, she made words appear on the back of the parchment as a note to send back to her parents to let them know that she was going to try and help. She ignored any warning thoughts that told her that it was insane to leave Hogwarts at such a dangerous time, especially on her own. She turned back to where Sienna still stood and attached the note to her leg. She paused for a seconds as she watched her fly swiftly in the direction of her home and then turned back to Sammy.
'Hey, it was great to chat with you, I'm going to have to go now, I.....er...... have to leave Hogwarts for a few days but I will be back soon.'
Emma tried to force a smile to convince her that everything was alright, but failing, she turned and walked towards the door to the stairs. She paused and turned back round.
'Er... can you let Callia know that I have had to go, but let her know that I will be safe and will see her soon.'
She knew that Callia would worry and didn't want to cause anyone else anymore pain. Feeling the adrenaline surging in her veins, Emma flung open the wooden door and sprinted down the stairs, determined to save her sister.

Sammy watched as Emma took out the letter, and the wrote on the back. She thought better then to question what was going on, but maybe she should? but before Sammy could do just that, Emma turned to left. Sure Emma I'll do just that. Sammy said, when Emma wasn't in the room anymore.
