Introduction
The Wizarding community has traditionally dismissed the Muggle way of life as pathetic, preposterous, and paltry. However, recent advances in Muggle technology have yielded an array of curious and quaint objects that, though primitive in comparison with wizardcraft, do serve some practical purpose. Although they are not particularly useful in our world, they are often a source of amusement, curiosity, and on occasion, death, destruction, and doom.
As a former employee of the International Branch of the Misuse of Muggle Artifacts Office and an experienced if somewhat reluctant student of Muggle culture, I have come across many a Muggle trinket in my travels. It is therefore my pleasure to reveal to you, the Muggle studies novice, my knowledge of a wealth of nonmagical gadgets, gewgaws, gizmos, and other gimcrackery.
